I've got a calmini 2.5" lift and 31" tires.  The driver side axle keeps coming out of the circlip, then out of the manual hub then no fourwheel drive...  When I first installed the calmini lift and the manual hubs the driver side didn't have a c-clip on the axle.  I took the passenger side c-clip and went to the local parts store.  They did not have an exact match but it was close.  The question is was it supposed to have a c-clip?  Does anyone else have this problem?  If I located the right c-clip would this solve the problem?

Hi Sean, I had the same problem with the Calmini Extreme Vitara. I just kept trying diff clips untill I found some to work and stay on.  Many clips are made of inferior steel and will warp out of shape just spreading them enough to slip on. Look for clips made from spring steel. If you can bend them with your fingers, they are no good. I finally found good ones at Lowes hardware in their nuts and fasteners drawers. The ones I got from Kragen, Napa and ATI were not good enough. Strange but true...
