grille removal?

can any one out there run down some steps on removing the pastic grille ?

See the pic I've attached to this message.  Carefully remove the tabs on the top of the grill (the big red oval in my pic).  You'll need to have the hood up.  If you break them, you'll have to pick up some universal type ones at an auto parts store.  Then, I've indicated the other grill connection points with red circles.  Start with the center and work your way out.  Firmly grab the grill near a tab, and *very carefully* pull.  You'll feel it start to work loose as the plastic tabs pull out of their holes.  I've done this at least ten times to recharge my AC system without breaking anything.  Still, you must be careful.  Good luck!

That is the right picture, he is showing you the location of the tabs. The ones attached to the bumper can be difficult and you cant see them. I purchased some of the snaps from an auto zone, the ones for GM vehicles fit perfect. It is always good to have extra tabs because I break them all the damn time. Good luck.

Yeah....sorry 'bout that.  The little red circles in the pic aren't as noticeable as I hoped they would be.  Good luck.

2000 Grand Vitara.. boondox coil spacer lift w/ pro comp 2 inch lift shocks and ome struts. 225/75 R16 Kumho Mt's, powdercoated wheels, rear brake line relocation and stuff to acomodate. custom exhaust and intake along with some 1 off accesories.
