My new 03 GV pics inside
« on: August 30, 2010, 10:53:36 PM »
Well after my 01 only made it 4 months with me, I bought a 03.
It is a 2003 Suzuki Grand Vitara 58,000 miles. Very low!! V6 2.5L DOHC 4x4
Very clean and Very well taken care of.

My plans for now is within the next week tint the front windows. Get a nice aftermarket radio. Get a hitch.

Finally a 4low on a small SUV with GREAT MPG!!!!

Thanks guys! Ya I do like the new interiors vs the old. There are only a few things I like from the old style overall.

One is the adjustable arm rests. This one just has a center console with a too low of an arm rest.
Two is the antenna. I like the roof mounted one adjustable one. Vs the regular style fender fixed antenna on th new one.
Three is the gas door. I like the lockable one with the interior release. The new ones are just regular non lockable.

Besides that I LOVE the new one. Oh yea one more thing. I love the steering wheel radio controls. But the factory radio sucks. To keep the wheel controls I would need an adapter that sounds complected to install.

http://www.audiocontrol.com/t34/17612/OEM-Integration.html

Audiocontrol has some really nice OEM interface devices..

Look into the EQL or EQX depending on the type of system you would like. or even the DQL8 if you want to go crazy tuning your music..

Well the radio quality is good, and it gets loud enough. But it is the CD player is dead and there is no AUX input. So I guess I'll try to find a good factory unit. Craigslist or Ebay should be a good place to start.

As for the lift, I will eventually get one. For now it is okay. I'm more worried about how much these vehicles can take. If I add a lift and then bigger tires and then more stress on it all and don't forget with more clearance/tires you ego goes up and that is when stuff brakes. I got my Dodge for the offroading.
