The heater bulb is a dealer only item and if I recall correctly, the speedo bulb are a 5W baseless wedge (also used in the front park lamps).

yup your right on the speedo bulb, it was fairly easy to change, but for the heater...man that was quite a rig!! had to take off the radio, the vent linkage then take the heater switches and all apart(in three pieces if im not mistaken) i took out the green covers off all the bulbs, now its brighter and to me look cooler.

You're kidding me right?  You took all of that apart to get to the bulbs?  Here's how I do it - take the radio out, push the heater controls back & down, and then reach in and take the bulb out.

Incidentally - since you took it apart - how many bulbs did you find in the heater controls?  Parts manual shows two, but I've only been able to find one.

Ebay has lots of bulbs - specifically which one are you referring to?  The speedo bulbs are available at the corner parts store (and yes, on ebay), but, if you're telling me you can find the heater bulb any place other than a Suzuki/Tracker dealership - I'm going to say - SHOW ME!.

By the way - the one in my car came from ebay - but - it's not the right one - sure, I made it fit and work, but it's not the right one.

there is two of them, both was burnt, one is easy to take out but the other has to be taken apart to change, that was the worst one to change, for the vent selection they have a yellow light but does the picture lights up as well? mine dosent and hard to see them at night

Ahhh - does your vent selector use pushbuttons or sliders?

Mine is pushbutton and the icons do light - the top bulb takes care of that.

There are LEDs to show which button is selected, and a single bulb that lights all the icons - that bulb goes in from the top of the control assembly - if you remove the radio & the vent bezel, you can remove three screws and push the control assembly back & down into the radio space, and get access to the bulb that way.

You'll see a hole with a black plastic cap, twist the cap 1/4 turn and lift it out.
