Body Cladding
« on: February 13, 2005, 01:34:21 PM »
What holds it on? (glue,clips,nails)
What is under it?
Okay, now you want to know why.
I'm in the process of looking for a 99-2000 GV with V-6, 5spd, and A/C ( and under 8Gs or better)
And maybe doing my SAS on that and being that the body cladding would have to come off of most of it, just wondering how it would look with out it.
And doing the OTT kicker 3 on it if it works. Being since I just thought about this tonite, I haven't had time to call OTT to check if their mod will fit/work on a 2000.

As far as I know its all held on with bolts, the only problem is it might leave holes in the body.

They are  helded on with plasitc clips.  If you remove them you will need to do something about the holes  :-/.  If it was me I would just let it be and just added some rocker rails and a belly pan.

Leave the body cladding on!  It makes good padding :)  I've rested on it a few times now, it'll flex and come back into shape, if I didn't have it my doors would not be very straight ;)

It's held on with administrivium.  Yoiu can't get rid of it, you can only move it, and watch it multiply.  Underneath it is a gateway to the overworld.  Do NOT go there without a guide.  Any other questions?

Bob:
Do you need some of my medications? Or do you have something better....? Maybe even been smoking some whacky tobaccy...? Tell you what, I can call some nice men in white coats to come visit you, maybe even get you to try on a white coat with shiney buckles and heavy duty brown leather straps..... Now won't that be fun? Then you could be a guide at the gateway to the overworld..... ;D ;D ;D
