235 tires on a 3dr 1600 GV... loss of power?
« on: October 28, 2015, 06:57:25 PM »
Hello everyone.

I currently run 225/75/15 tires on my lifted GV (LRO kit+OME springs and struts). I was wondering if I change the tires to 235 (would like the Mud-Terrain T/A KM2) will I notice any loss in power - handling? Would you do it in my place? Is there any real advantage as compared with my (so far) trusty Geolandar at-s?

Any input will be very appreciated!

do it!  less than 10% on torque loss and speedo.  you have room for 235s

I am on 255 70 R16 with 1.8 liter Sport.  I only have issues in 5th gear going up long up hill grades.  The extra clearance is great.
