« on: August 16, 2007, 08:36:57 PM »
I have a 2.7 engine with 36K miles that has sensors and everything swapped over. Plus i have a 5 speed transmission with 55K miles with a clutchmasters custom built stage 2 racing clutch. These are all bolt in and does not require any computer changes. Just take out your stock 2.5 and this will bolt right in and plug right in. I also have the custom exhaust that has cats removed and oxygen sensor silmulators with a purple hornies 4in exhaust. I want $1500 for all and you pay for shipping. I am swapping in a Chevy 350 with T56 transmission. I no longer need these parts. If interested i have the Erebuni drag wing i will sell for $100 you pay shipping. Look me up on cardomain under ZUKIPRO. Email is nickrach2001|removethispart|@juno.com i will send pics of everything. Thanks Nick

I am selling the whole thing as a package. I pulled out the front diff and converted to 2wd. I also am running a rear diff from an automatic transmission because it has a lower gear ratio. I have another 5 spd transmission that wont shift into any gears. Its like its stuck in neautral. Instead of fixing it i bought a new one. If you want this one for extra parts i would take $50 and you pay for shipping. Thanks ZUKIPRO

Was the 13.4 with NOS?  Any 0 -60 times?  Also any mods to the ECU or anything else to run the larger injectors and throttle body?

The 13.4 was with 100 shot Nitrous. I ran this same setup last year on my 2.5 however i ended up throwing a rod. I have has no problems with running this year due to the 2.7 and the larger injectors and throttlebody upgrade.  I have used the nitrous at two drag events and i removed it because its not allowed on auto X courses. If you have a 2.7 motor you can swap out the upper intake, throttlebody, and injectors off the 2.5 onto the 2.7. The sensors are the same.  If you want check out my car at www.cardomain.com under ZUKIPRO. To ensure that i didnt hurt my engine i gutted the cats and am running oxygen sensor simulators. I also cutt off the entire exhaust right after the Y-pipe and welded in a 4in pipe along with a purple hornies racing muffler. Its loud and its definetely fast. I have my 350 smallblock however i need either a T5 or T56 transmission in order to complete the rest of my install. If anybody know how to post pics on this site i would appreciate the info. Everything listed is still up for grabs. Thanks Nick  ZUKIPRO

You're getting dangerously close to being my hero.

Re pics, there's a clickable "Additional Options" below the text box where you type.  Hit that and it'll drop down some stuff for uploading attachments.

It was my understanding that the 2.5s and 2.7s had different intake sensors, with the 2.7 having both MAF and MAP, but the 2.5 not?  Or something like that?  I think you used to have underhood photo on Cardomain with the cone filter snugged up above the intake manifold, but didn't see that you had relocated the MAF sensor, which lead me to believe you didn't have one.

When i blew my 2.5 i bought a 2.7 from a 2001 XL7. I swapped the upper intake sensors, including the fuel rail, injectors, throttlebody and ignition contol module from the 2.5 to the 2.7. After doing this i plugged in all off the sensors as they were before from the factory harness. I than did a diagnostic check to see if i was throwing any codes. In which i wasnt.  I removed the Evap canister and brazed the EGR closed.  The air intake temp sensor was relocated into the custom K+N air filter. After i started using the Nitrous i was throwing a code for my oxygen sensors. I ended up hollowing my cats and installing oxygen sensor simulators. I am running the fuel pretty rich for the nitrous but can change it with my fuel pressure regulator.

Now I know the 2.5 injectors are larger but why all the other "stuff"?
