Check out this new X-Head video on Youtube:

I think this thing is cool.....and I see a solid rear axle in the back.....lots of ground clearance, big tires and spacious wheel wells.  LOL...What was Suzuki thinking  :P  ???  Let's bombard them with emails and get 'em to build this thing!  Looks like a highly developed alien race built their own version of an old Scout or Bronco.

What's the motor in it? It looks huge (or the model is really short). Front end reminds me of a Unimog or Mercedes or something. If Suzuki ever ships them to the states, I bet the price will be reasonable. Maybe in line with the Toyota FJ Cruiser. I'd buy one. ;D

The racks for the mini bikes are too user specific but I really like the side compartments on the box and inside the doors.  I really hope they build this!   Can you imagine a 4 door version?  OMG that would be cool!  :P

interesting consept. I'm luke warm on it but it shows promise. Seems they took the Honda Element and applied the idea to a 4x4 truck.
Things I like;
-cab, reminds me of a Volvo rock truck.
-wheel base and height .
-storage compartments, very little wasted space.
-the cab forward 4x4 pick up idea.
What I don't like;
-to much electronic crap.
-the tailgate hinges gotta go, a regular flop down gate would be better.
-ditch the greedy boards, a regular flat top box would be better, then a canopy could be made.
-front bumper, grill and forward lights are hidious, I can't believe a group of educated designers looked at the front of that truck and decided that was the look they needed.

I love many of the concepts but the styling leaves a lot to be desired.

I wonder what chassis they built it on? I see the 5 lug, maybe a jimny chassis, but it looks larger than a jimny.
Runnin' it stock with 225/75R15s and an unmodified 8valve TBI motor (I need a doug thoroley header and a cam) (more power) (1.6 liters of madness) (vroom + sewing machine sounds)

One of the best bits of the Tokyo motor show is soaking up all the genuinely deranged concepts on display: bizarre visions of the future that go way beyond the standard gull-wing doors and plasma screen interiors.

Just like this: the Suzuki X-Head. A flexible flatbed off-roader - we think - it's a Tonka toy for grown-ups.
And we love it. The X-Head's schtick is that the load-bed can hold various different 'units', transforming it into a camper van, a builder's ute or even an emergency vehicle.

We know that the X-Head is a bit over three-and-a-half metres long - which makes it a bit shorter than a Jeep Wrangler - and that it'll be powered by a 1.4-litre engine, but beyond that it's all a bit of a guess.
