Inspired by Customer Demand, American Suzuki Introduces 'Suzuki Works Techno' Edition for New Reno

Limited Production Reno LX SWT Edition is Geared to Active, Sports-oriented Drivers

BREA, Calif. - (March 1, 2005) - Inspired by the popularity of "Suzuki Works Techno" (SWT) vehicle styling packages that enable Suzuki car and SUV owners to personalize their vehicles, American Suzuki Motor Corporation (ASMC) rolls out a SWT edition for its popular new five-door Suzuki Reno for style-seeking consumers.

A limited production of Suzuki Reno LX SWT Edition vehicles in Sunburst Orange - including rear spoiler, carbon fiber enhancements, stainless-steel exhaust tip and other enhancements - are now available at select Suzuki dealerships nationwide. Consumers can purchase the complete, value-packed SWT edition for only $500 MSRP above the already aggressively priced and well-equipped Reno LX models, with a base MSRP of $15,894.

The Reno LX SWT Edition is the first in a series of SWT models to be offered by ASMC, and it will be followed immediately by a high-style SWT edition for the Suzuki Aerio SX five-door crossover.

"The Suzuki Reno has been a big hit with active, sports-oriented drivers - so we know that the potential for a dedicated Reno LX SWT Edition is significant," said Gary Sherfey, ASMC's accessories sales and marketing manager.

Additional SWT offerings are in development and will be available at select American Suzuki dealerships throughout 2005. Model-specific SWT products will be launched with future new Suzuki vehicles. Most packages will have slight variations from vehicle to vehicle and future plans call for distinct model-year packages to ensure maximum consumer appeal.
