Place to get plug wires
« on: March 11, 2005, 05:50:56 PM »
I was wondering for those in Idaho. Were do you get your plug wires. I use to get them at Carquest but those even the lifetime ones would end up dead within 3-6 months. I then purchased a set at kirkhams in Nampa before they moved. (I need to find them again). It was a little more money but they are lifetime and I have used them for 2 years now. They run great but are showing signs of heat wear. If I can find the receipt. I'll probably get warrently on them. But I have yet to find it. Sigh. Anybody know if autozone is good?

Later,

Josh

Sorry to hear about your luck with the plug wires.. I have worked with several different types of wires and found that PRESTOLIGHT, are a pretty good bang for the buck and have a lifetime warranty and you should be able to buy these at your Napa store in Boise/nampa area... remember to kept you receipt for the lifetime warranty!!!

I've gotten to the boiling point with after market ignition parts and seals and bearings etc... check the dealer, sometimes there prices are worth the extra money if your not popping the hood every 3-6 months for wire changes.
