Trail spare axle cases
« on: November 15, 2005, 03:16:32 AM »
I posted this up on Zuwharrie but thought I would throw it over here too.......

Hey guys ...just whipped these up and figured I would share.  I was wanting a way to keep the birfs packed with grease and not have it get all over everything.

Couplings are 4" male and female, (2) 4" to 2" bushings, and (2) 2" end caps and some scrap 2" PVC

Glue the bushings into the couplings.

Add in some PVC pipe and the end caps and you have your axle cases.

All told it took me about 2 minutes to whip these up.   ;D

Looks good, can you use a 3'' pvc pipe and a 4'' cup piece at each end and get two axels in there? that might be cool also.

very nice. Way to use your noodle.... Add a welding igniter or coleman lantern igniter and those could double as a spud gun..

You  could probably do that.
