head gasket and intake gasket question....!!!

hi...my radiator is empty by the exhaust its probably head gasket or intake gasket.....

how to check witch one its broke ? i i dont have to change both im happy !!!

I think you are going to have to remove the
intake to get the head off, you might as well
change them both, but it probably is the head
gasket

If  you know how to check the head for
warpage (not 100% flat) then you can
check it, but if not, go to an auto machine
shop and have it checked

Acutally suzuki suggest if at all possible when changing a head gasket to keep the intake in place on the head. THe head will come off with intake intake. I just did my friends 1.8 which is alot complicated with the chain drive timing.  I removed the head with intake on.

Or by the way a good way to check for a bad head gasket. First check the oil. IS it milky? Second check the exhaust with a paper test that always a good sign to see if a head gasket is gone. and last but not least you can do a compression check to see if you got leakage in compression.
