NEW CUSTOMER RETENTION PROGRAM AVAILABLE TO AMERICAN SUZUKI AUTOMOTIVE DEALERS
BREA, Calif. (September 13, 2005) - As part of American Suzuki’s continuing growth initiative in the U.S., the company has entered into an agreement with Shell Lubricants and created a customer retention program called “Suzuki-Quaker State Lubrication Program� available to more than 540 Suzuki automobile dealerships nationwide.
The Suzuki-Quaker State dealership program is designed to enhance customer satisfaction, increase labor sales and strengthen the dealer’s gross profit on parts sales. The program features financial support, a lubrication warranty program, development of Quick Lube service, service clinics, co-op advertising, a fleet card program, a secure cycle environmental program, technical support and training and more.
Included in the program is a New Car Value Pack which provides customers with an offer to return to the dealership for regular oil changes. If the customer purchases three oil changes, the fourth oil change is free. This part of the program is designed to help increase customer satisfaction and customer retention and helps build customer loyalty to the dealer for parts and service.
Also included is The Quaker State Limited Lubrication warranty which offers customers protection from lubrication-related failures for 10 years or 250,000 miles. The customers must use Quaker State when changing their oil every 4 months or 4,000 miles (whichever occurs first) to qualify for the Quaker State Limited Lubrication warranty which encourages customers to return to the dealership for oil changes and other regularly scheduled maintenance.
Suzuki dealers can also consider working with Quaker State to create a Quick Lube-type facility, or dedicated service bay that offers customers a fast oil change operation located right at the dealership. This program can increase service traffic, increase ancillary parts sales (air filters, wiper blades), free up existing service bays and improve customer satisfaction scores.
Additional program components are available; all designed to enhance customer satisfaction, and strengthen the dealer’s gross profit on parts and labor sales.
