Tracker trans/tcase question
« on: August 29, 2005, 12:19:46 PM »
Does anyone know how much the Tracker auto trans and t-case weigh(seporate or together).  Will UPS take just the t-case or is it too heavy?  I'm pretty sure the trans weighs too much for them.

They each weigh approximately 70lbs from when I weighed mine a few days ago. Probably be easier packaging wise to ship them seperately.

70 sounds right or even a bit heavy for the t-case but a little light for the transmission.  BTW,  I'm talking about an auto trans, not manual.  Did the total package weigh in at 140 and you'r splitting the weight 50/50 or were those the seporate part weights?

I would check into sending it FedEX ground.  They just delivered my Shrockworks TrackKick bumper.  It was way oversize and definitely weighed more than either component you are shipping.  I would ship them separately.

Wow, I didn't think my Xfer case weighed NEAR 70 pounds when I did the gear upgrade.  Were you weighing them with fluid in?  That would only be a few pounds, though.
