X-90 & Sidekick Rocker Trim the same
« on: August 18, 2005, 05:31:06 AM »
Is the X-90 (98) & Sidekick/Tracker (97) Rocker Trim the same? I messed up my X-90 plastic trim wheeling last weekend and need to replace it. I do have a parts Tracker (97) that I could pull it off of but I forgot to check to see if they were the same before I left for work :P

Also, where can I get the plastic trim screws and the pannel clips to hold the trim on?

I Kept loosing my power steering belt because the compressors bearings were wearing out. So Jimmy made me a bracket with an ideler pulley to replace the compressor. So, as usual, my Kick is out of reach for the weekend and a group of people from my club decide to try a new trail in Baxter. Well, I HAD to go and the X did great 75% of the trail with only a little trim damage ;D Damn I need a little Sami to have as a back up wheeler/hunting rig 8)

Hi Zig.
Got any pics of your X in action? I tried to email you the other day but it did not get through. You changed your address lately?
I took my X for a play the other day just for a "test" run. It went really well, I loved popping the tops and cruising - too easy ;D
You still running your X at the same spec with the 2" Calmini lift etc?

Yea, I changed my email from the zig1|removethispart|@usit.net to Zukipilot|removethispart|@frontiernet.net. You can email me there. I will have to liik and see if I have any pics of the X on the trail. I am still running the Calmini 2" lift.

zip ties will work ;D especially if you bent that metal shrouding under the trim, the plastic push pins wont line up.

Hi team.

Thanks Zig, I look forward to seeing if you got any pics. I am going to run a Calmini 3" kit on mine - the idea being to keep the body as far away from hazards as possible. It is only going to be a club truck though ( easy trails ). It is a bit rare to knock around to much. Rock sliders are priority #1 to have fitted before I go off the beaten track - learnt that lesson the hard way a few years back with an old rig ;)

Hi mudfkr.
I live in Christchurch. I am organising a "Zukifest" with some fellow Zuk friends if you are interested ( I presume you are from NZ ). ALL Zuk owners welcome :D Drop me a line - personal message and I will give you my e-mail address. Picked up the Calmini agency a couple of weeks ago, so I can look after NZ Zuk punters on their product to ;D
