Thanks for that link! I printed what will be of use to me. I'll save that. Still waiting on your twinstick, too! Have a good one.

My 98 2dr 4 speed auto runs 3000 rpm at exactly 55mph in overdrive.  I have 235X75X15 wheels also.  Should note that the bigger the tires the faster you may be really going cuz the speedo may be reading lower that the real speed.  When I had OEM 205 size tires I was going about 3 mph slower than speedo read, with the 235s I am going about 2 miles an hour faster than speedo reads (checked by radar).

Thats about a 10% speed improvement for same rpms!

That also has an effect on gas mileage.  With bigger tires you are going farther than the speedo reads so you are getting better gas mileage than indicated.

I have acheived Tracker Nirvana; Thaks to Snofalls excellent picture, I was finally able to kill the infamous check engine light before I ended up spending any $$$ on an O2 sensor. All I got back was the 1-2 code.  Snofalls, a gigantic THANK YOU for the pic; I had poked in so many holes I was beginning to feel like a proctologist!!   ;D

DO you know where the reset switch is on the 96's

Yup - 96 what a year for changes!  "Curved" dash instrument cluster, air bags, and OBDII ECM.  Sure enough, you need a scan tool to turn it off.  They run about $120 at Checker's Auto Parts...

Is there an easy way to disable the airbags without them going off?
