THE ULTIMATE TRACKER
« on: April 20, 2005, 04:11:44 AM »
OK.  One of my favourite things is to look at wildly customized suzukis.  Not just the same old same old off road beasts with exo-skeletons and 33" tires.  I mean really fucked up crazy customized.  If you have any pictures, post them here.
:o

Too many postings about spring-overs, spring unders, spring-spacers.....not enough BMW conversion threads.  Well here it is.

To all you rockcrawlers I say HA!  You rig isn't the Tightest Tracker....this is!  I love it.  Just when you think you have seen the most creative, unthinkable, ugly, innovative, imaginative, startling, beautiful vehicle....you see one of these.

Look at this.  The guy has cut a Suzuki "S" into the hood, put some diamond plate behind it and back lit it.  That is damn creative.

I will admit that those rigs have some nice work done to them ... but to me it's the wrong base to start from.

IMHO
I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy it.

Its completely misguided!  You're right.  You lift a truck...you drop a car.  This is a cardinal rule of customizing.  But in my view, this is part of the beauty of it.  This person is going against all conventional wisdom and making a truly fuckedup looking ride.

These are examples of people who have broken cardinal rule of customizing #1 (see above).

Never lower your truck.

Never lift your car.

Some may argue that a 4dr TracKick is a car, similiar to that of a Subaru.  With it being IFS, a wagon, grocery getter, 7 inches of ground clearance, 27 inch tire, girlie car.  Its hard to mistake a stocker TracKick as a 'truck'.

I can't think of many people on here who even refer to a TracKick as a truck and not a trucklet.

When most people here the word truck they think of something like this

or this

Not this

^^^
Look they even take the photo to make it look like it has more ground clearance... *funny*

P.S. Sorry for hi-jacking the thread

I dunno...

I say keep it Japanese - maybe cross it with an Infiniti, or an Acura, but a BEEMER?  :barf:
