Yea there is a lot more but most of them are more one off ideas built to fit my vehicle. I try not to put out articals that most people would find usless. I could change that if I found that people wanted to read about it. :-/

Heres a list off the top of my head.

Im playing with a long arm three link rear system Its now going into its 3rd generation. (3 redos!) Hopefully its last. I wasnt planning on doing a write up on this. Just a one off kinda thing.

Im running 35 inch Goodyear MTRs currently, I say that cuz they are borrowed but I am pretty sure Im going to buy them. That will require some serious body working. I refuse to lift it because I love how it wheels right now so Im going to move the floorboards back and cut up the body. Im working with a body guy on the so it will look clean, like it came that way. We will see how that goes.

In case you didnt already know the front calipers and rotors have been swapped with a 4 door set. (bigger)

Most everyone knows about the full bellypan. I didnt have it on last weekend, I forgot how much I depend on it.

My front steering knuckles are tapered both ways so I can flip the tie rods to the top for off road use. This is huge. What this does is make the tires plow togather when at compression like this (top view) /  \ and go apart when at droop like this (top view) \  / . This helps when hill climbing the suspension is working to pull the nose down. When going downhill the tires plow the suspension back up. This is also good for jumping. ::) Another cool thing is that it puts far less stress on the Idler arm. Only downside is its a little squirmy on the street.

I cant think of anything else at the moment.

What I want to know is what material
and size the belly pan is made of,
also how is it attached to keep bolts
from getting messed up
???

This type of info would be helpfull, and I think appropriate to post to a forum thread.
I know that full undercarrage armor is the next step for us.  Some of your specs would be helpfull here.

Maybe list some of your problems or issues discovered along the way.

(I can't see forking out $400+ for an incomplete 'CAL' armor set when I could fab my self with greater coverage, for less.)

The only downside to the full bellypan I can think of is that mud gets stuck on top. I need to remove it constantly and clean ubove. Im building a new one and im going to try to cover even more to stop the mud from getting up there.

I dont know for sure what thickness, I was just walking around the steelyard untill I found some stainless that I thought wasnt to heavy but not too thin. ::) I will try to find out.

The pan is 16 gauge galvinized steel. The bolts to hold it on are flat head and up on the sides so they dont get shaved off.

Awesome info!  Thanks for the gauge indication.  Have you had any punctures with that thickness?  Do you wish it were thicker/thinner?

Ive run the same pan for 2 years with no problems. I dont think it could be much thinner.
