What did u guys do for the front strut mounts i got some ideas of what im gonna do but can anyone shed some light

Don't touch them  Put in some OME struts, 40mm more travel then the stock struts and this is the limit of the front CV's unless you want to change them every few trips

Cause i was thinking of getting a set of Vitra upper strut mounts and flipping them like i did on my Tracker.

The US Vitara model has a much taller upper strut mount. I've got pics in my webshots under suspension......http://community.webshots.com/photo/107940331/145071982RZIhBI.  There is a 1.5" difference between the Trackick and Vitara upper strut mounts.

I measure mine from the base to the top were the nut goes 3" so the us ones are smaller then ours

I think what i may do is get a set of Vitra ones and cut the 3 puck flange off and weld them to the bottom of the OEM GV ones then burn the bushing out of the oem one so i can access the  bolt on the Vitra ones

Similar to that, I'll end out with the same configuration. However, I'll be using a 1/4" flat plate between the upper mounts. With the flat plate, I can 'adjust' the space between the mounts for better droop.
