« on: November 19, 2003, 02:17:04 PM »
Im thinking about putting the calmini t-case gears in my 96 (AUTO) tracker so when I run 31s it will have some uuupppphhhhhhhh. . I just didnt want to gain alot of rpm in 2wd. It has 235-75-15s on it now and down the highway im still at 3250 at about 65mph.

Help the newbie.

This gear set will not change 2 hi ratio, only
4 low or 2 low if you get the RRO 2 low kit.
If you want to run 31 tires, I think the Man Trans
diff gears at 5.13 will bring you back to stock
gear ratio as with 205 tires when new.

Wild,
Have you done this install? How difficult is it once you have your T-Case out?

Mike,
My first thing is definately POWER STEERING!!!!! I dont think I want the ol-manual steering wheel snatch climbing that stuff :o Then I will look at the 2-lo Kit. Maybe that wil be the first mod at my new shop (oops, I meant house :P) Looking forward to the write up this month.
