Let me preface this post by saying that I tried a search but, could not readily find a "search this topic [Gen 1 Sidekick] option on this forum".
I have a '93 sidekick JX / 4 door hardtop.
The fuel tank and internals are very rusted, so much so that I won't attempt the muriatic acid / Red Kote process as I have done with outer Suzuki.
My research shows two options for a replacement fuel tank.
They are; 1) the exact 4-door tank that came off the vehicle with two tank ports for $250+, and 2) the 2-door model with three tank ports for less than $100.
The 4 door model has two ports, sending unit, and pump.

My questions are:
Is the 2-door fuel tank interchangeable with 4-door tank with a modification to block the 3rd tank port?
Where is the best place (in your experience), to buy such a tank?
