This will be a slow progress build. Little brother picked this up from a guy for $400. Gonna fix it up and put it back on the road for his first car. Decided to keep with the "Swamp Donkey" name and color, so once complete will be painted green and new stickers made for the front window. Here it is once we got it home in the garage and started taking it apart.
My main focus right now is getting all the welding done so we can start the 5 speed tranny swap. Heres a couple pics of the repair done in driver side strut tower. And a few more of the holes we have found.
Found a few more areas that need attention, but didn't take a pic yet. Will do and post once they are cut out for welding. The plan for this build is to have completed in 6 months. Need to source some parts and fix a few issues with the electrical on the Zuk. List of things to do before she goes on the road is:
- Fix holes
- 5 Speed swap
- 2 inch suspension lift
- 2 inch body lift
- Snorkel
- Removable Doors
- Bed liner coated floor
- Custom bumpers
- Exhaust system
- Body work and paint.
A fee other odds and ends but not an overly difficult build. Major issue being faced is that its wintertime here on the east coast and don't have a heated garage. I will update as move work gets done.
