NB, Canada Suzuki Automotive Meet: June 10, 2017
« on: May 07, 2017, 05:15:13 PM »
Do you live in Eastern Canada or the North-Eastern US? Do you love your Zuki and want to MEET others who love theirs too? Then join us in Woodstock, New Brunswick, Canada on June 10. Woodstock is directly across the US border from Houlton, Maine.

This is open to all Suzuki models, including models built by Suzuki but rebadged as something else, like a Geo, Tracker, or Sunrunner.

Group activities might include (but are not limited to):
- Parking together to chat and check out each other's Suzuki
- A scenic drive along the St. John River
- A drive through the longest covered bridge in the world (in Hartland)
- Photo shoots of us and our Suzuki's
- Sharing a meal at a local truck stop style restaurant (Grant’s at Murray’s)
- Ice cream at the local Dairy Delight (takeout windows only)
- Exact locations and times will be posted later.

Please email me at SuzukiAutoCanAmFan|removethispart||removethispart|@gmail.com to let me know that you’re interested, and I’ll keep you informed as the details unfold. If you're on Facebook, you can also join the event at http://www.facebook.com/events/1179740112152993/. Please email me any ideas that you might have too.

If you decide to stay in town for Sunday too, here are some other options available:
- 10th Annual Car Show with Napa Auto Parts at the local Best Western
- Participate in an autocross with the Fredericton Motorsports Club at Speedway 66 (about 1.5 hours south in Geary)
- For any church goers, you can join me and my Suzuki that morning. Just ask me when and where.

Check out other great things to do in Woodstock at https://woodstocknbtourism.com/

Sorry for the long overdue reply. We had four SX4s show up. It wasn't an SX4 only event, but that's what we got.  If you're on Facebook, photos can be seen here: https://www.facebook.com/pg/SuzukiAutoCanAmFans/photos/?tab=album&album_id=1365691553509407

We have another NB event coming in June, this time in St. Andrews.  I'll start a new thread soon for that one.

Hey that's cool. I never would have guessed people are installing lift kits on SX4's but one of my friends just bought a Forester and apparently people are lifting those too! So, do you guys have any trailsout there in NB?

It's amazing the amount of people who like to put lift kits on their SX4. Some do use them for offroading too, and they make out surprisingly well, especially the ones with AWD.  They're also great in the snow, even without AWD.

Yes, there are trails and groups here in NB. I know of a club in southern NB which includes Samurai's.
