Best Place to buy part
« on: April 23, 2016, 11:16:19 AM »
Hey guys recently tore into the transmission on my 1987 Suzuki samurai 5 speed. Come to fine out the input shaft needs replaced. The only problem is I do not know where to get the syncro that goes on the input shaft. If someone could direct me to one of these that would be great thank you.

Gotcha.

I recently purchased a rebuild kit for a Tracker 5-speed tranny from Cobar.   I was happy with the quality of the kit minus the fact it did not include three needle bearings in their re-build.  But... the old ones appeared to be good to go so they are back in the tranny and running.  So far, after about 1K miles, I have no complaints of the component quality of their kits.

The only thing is I hate to buy a whole syncro kit when I only need the one that goes on the input shaft
