Ok so I'm knew to the 1.3 and its vaccum carb .. I got this 86 (my first) samurai .. It never seemed to rev right and not when it had a timing belt done last I put a new one on last week . It either jumped time due to the tensioner spring bouncing on the crank gear or was set out of time two teeth off at some point in its life ... Not now w that the crank and cam gear are set correctly it is ideling at around 100k .. With that being said I have backed the idel screw out all the way and back in some . No change till I push on the throttle arm . I have not messed with ignition timing at all yet . Any ideas ?
