I have a Superwinch model EPi9.0S - 9,000 lbs/12V winch that has the cable fowled about 50 feet into the spool.  This Superwinch model was discontinued a couple years ago and I can't find any specs on the internet on the actual size of the steel cable that it uses, other than the diameter of the synthetic rope used on the same model was 3/8ths diameter.  Rope is usually a little stronger than similar cable, so I can't just assume 3/8ths steel would work.

I think your wire cable you have for sale would work for my application, but I am not at all positive.  Do you have any experience/knowledge with these Superwinches that could shed light on this?

Thanks,

Norm

Hi Norm, unfortunately I have no experience personally with the Superwinch brand of winches other than hearing there  a pretty good value. This was the stock cable and fairlead that came on my Warn, that I replaced with rope for it's lighter weight. I can only tell you it seems pretty stout, was never kinked and has no damage. Hope that helps.

Alright, I will attempt to find more detailed tech info on the cable version of this Superwinch beast.  If I find the 3/8ths line works (thickness and connector end) and you still have it available for sale, I will contact you again  and take it off your hands.

Thank you.
