The usual stuff, and 2nd generation Air to liquid intercooled TURBOCHARGER

Front or rear bump stops?  They are easy to extend, after unscrewing the rubber section just cut in half and weld a section of exhaust tubing in to make as long as needed.
93 Tracker,XL7 springs & 1" raised spring pads in front with YJ springs in back, home built bumpers rear & front (w/winch), 2" x 4" rock tubes,  ARB front & rear, converted Sami rear to IFS, 33x12.5x15  aluminum rims, roll cage, 2.7L w/5 speed auto.

Found my old stockers in my parts pile. Got the extensions so just gotta pop em in.

BRD HNTR can you elaborate, maybe got a pic? The extensions I have are really too short so your idea sounds great. ALso you extended your lower links too didn't you? another good idea I may borrow. While it's apart might as well finish it.

BRD HNTR can you elaborate, maybe got a pic? The extensions I have are really too short so your idea sounds great. ALso you extended your lower links too didn't you? another good idea I may borrow. While it's apart might as well finish it.

I had replied to this (about time of the last crash), so will try again.
I four linked my rear end and  I like the articulation it has.  My bottom links are 31+



I think that going to a center frame mount on the lower links would be much better.  So to make them very long, you would have to trim off the back corner of the frame where it goes up over the wheels.  On 33's I have some surging when changing lanes on freeway at 65+ mph (from road depressions), which I never noticed when on 30" tires.  I was playing with the 4 link calculator, trying to see if I could get it any better than what it is.  It seems that I may have it set up pretty good, but you can achieve same or better figures with centered lower links.

I noticed in the pics of the rear arms that on the upper arms that there is no jam nut on it to keep the joint from turning in the and wearing out the treads , are you sure you want to do that ? Just a thought and I have seen them ware enough to strip out and then life gets real interesting trying to get stoped.

You are correct, and it wears out faster than I would think.  Old photo, and I do run jam nuts (now).
