Hey guys.   I was hunting with a buddy and he recommended I come up with a way for a quick disconnect for my front Torsion bar, when off roading.     He said I'll get a lot more front wheel travel.    What are all your thoughts on this, and how do you do it?

You probably mean the anti-sway or stabilizer bar - some people are ahppy with it, but personally I'm not really keen on doing that with a vehicle that sees daily or on highway useage.

Yes - you will get more articulation off road, but that comes at the expense of stability at on road, and if you have the cause to do a quick left/right/left (or vice versa) manouver - maybe someone pulled infront of you on an on ramp, or a child darted out into the street after a ball - you could find yourself in serious trouble.

Sami's are leaf sprung, they may be less impacted than a coil spring Sidekick, but, try it and see.

I don't see much change with it on or off.  I have removed it on most of my Samurais.
