So started stripping down my "new to me" lwb sammy, its ruff, but actually better than what I was expecting, I cant believe for an 87 I only broke 2 small bolts. Going to be getting rocker panels soon. When I.start finishing off body il be putting every seal back to new. Space was tight but snaped a few pics, shops a mess at the moment.

Just had a couple quick questions to anyone who may know....first after a couple hours online and not having any luck. I will be calling around tomorrow, but does anyone know where I can get lwb rocker panels?or am I going to be making my own.  Second, there is like an angle piece that holds the, what im asuming to.be oem flares on. Is that piece removeable? If so, how. I havnt seen any replacement pieces nor any talk about them, mine are salvagable but if they are removeable id like to get them off to clean up behind them. Thanks in advance, sorry if my reply sucks spelling and grammer wise, this phone is the worst for this.

I cant answer your first question but for the second question, the piece that holds the OEM rocker panels are spot welded to the rocker

This page should help you out for sure, be careful w/the spot welds

Thank you I bookmarked that for future referance if ever needed, but I was refering to what is holding on my fender flares..im not sure if they are oem or something someone made up..looks oem. Called around.for rocker panels today, looks like getting them for a lwb is out of the question, so I got panels for a regular 87 samurai and I can fab up the.rest. Was also set back with.an oil pan leak, tried to patch but said screw it im buying new. theres a chev 305 under the hood so not hard to.find a pan at all.

Oh the fender flares? Oops sorry man  :( I definitely don't know what holds the fender flares on, almost seems to me like it clips on perhaps? But Id wait til someone more knowledgeable chimes in about that issue. Have any pictures of the motor swap?

Well things have been a little slow with the samurai laitly, lost my job so only been doing small stuff, amd cleaned out my shop hardcore, took 2 days lol. Oil pan started leaking bad so thats gotta be fixed asap and iv been cleaning up the mess of electrical spaghetti everywhere. Kind of just doing what I can with what I have for now. Did get it outsode for some better pics though.
