I really like where my CB is mounted (in place of the the ashtray).  However, after futzing with several antenna's I got tired of having to pull out the center dash console to hook up my SWR meter.  The directions that came with my meter say it can be left connected.  So I mounted it in the glove box.  Cut a hole for the cords in the back and velcro'd it to the top section.  It's there when I need it and out of sight/out of the way when I don't.  If I need it to test another vehicle all I have to do peel it off and reach behind it and disconnect the cables (plus I always know where to find it).
