Body trimming, hi-rock rails and bushwackers may happen tomorrow.  Hopefully more pictures to follow.

What size of tires did you use?

I put 32x 11.5 x15 Goodyear MTR/k tires on 15 x 10" wide wheels.  Look crazy doesn't it?

I originally wanted to go 33 x 12.5, but  I didn't want to break things and going that big was going to require a different lift configuration.  I was able to stay SPUA for stability and drive line angles, still get enough lift to fit the tires I wanted, and have some good meat on the ground with flex.

Those tires do look really good!  I was looking at some rims with that design and notice there are many brands mimicing that style, what brand did you go with?  Do you have any turning problems, tires rubbing on leaf spring?

The brand I got was Ultra.  It seems like a bunch of brands have a design like this and I think they are all made in the same place.

I'm in the process of trimming and haven't been able to drive it much.  The tires hit the fender flares and the body seam inside the front wheel wells at teh rear.  I'm hopefully taking care of that tomorrow night so I can drive it again.  Its been about a month.

I have about 5" of lift and even with that and the wheelbase extended about an inch in each direction, the tires hit.  I don't know if they will hit the leafs yet, haven't gotten past the body stuff yet.

OK, so the Sami is finally driveable.  I was able to get it out of my buddies shop and back home to my garage.

The flares are on and just need a little more work.  The rock rails are on.  Crazy stuff with those but it's all good now.

I will be working on stuff this weekend, but it will all be minor stuff.

Thanks!  The transformation is really taking shape.  I measured from the ground to the bottom of my sliders, 24".

As soon as I get my Shrockworks bumpers, a winch, and some lockers, I will be really close to done.

I spent 2+ hours in my sahib at 65+MPH today in gusts up to 50mph.   It was not a good ride.
