88 Samurai Carb Rebuilder?
« on: May 21, 2012, 04:17:42 PM »
Looking for someplace that can rebuild the carb for my 88 Samurai in the southern California area. I want to make sure that they know what they are doing and not just blowing smoke up my butt. I tried Petro Works but they are so backed up on their work that after six weeks I just can't wait any longer. Any recommendations?  Thanks.....

I think suzuki john in las vegas might be your next choice.
1987,1988,1988,1990 samurai's,  1953 m38a1,  1996 x-90,blue.1996 x-90 red.1994 2 door tracker.   only Dead Fish go with the flow.                No Hairy Nosed Wombats were ran over on the trail today.       My ZUK is Xenophobic.

I just ordered a rebuilt carb from Guaranteed Carburetors (ImportCarburetors.com) in Florida. Their cost was VERY competitive and they appear to have a long business history. The price was $259.99 + shipping. Total cost was $301.00 and they include a prepaid shipping label for the core return. Hopefully it will only take 10 to 14 days. They flow test and run it on an engine before shipping. Thanks for the info.

I  got a carb from them kept flooding all the time could never get it to work right. Took it off and got one from below and has worked great, it's been about a year now. Good Luck ;D
