94 tracker 2 door 8v and computer caps replaced before I bought it

My horn/ tail light fuse constantly blows but they both work fine and my front turn signals work when flashing bit they won't light up with the headlights in the on position. New bulbs didn't help.

maybe a grounding problem.  I have a 93 tracker that did much of the same thing.  Checked all grounds and seemed to help my problems, but that was what worked for me.  Hope ya get it figured out

I spent almost a month chasing loose connections, both power and ground.  Seems that some ground wires like to hide when you are reinstalling equipment.  And replace the worn/frayed grounds, cause they will haunt you sooner or later.  Connections that don't snap closed can be an issue also.

Found other issues with wiring and were exactly like you said.. Frayed connections behind things I didn't wanna remove.

Fixed my dash lights and horn but still can't figure out the front corner lights. 

OK - let's see what we can do about those "front corner lights".

What exactly is the problem - your first post says ...

Front turn signals & front corner lights may mean the same thing to you, but they don't mean the same to me - you seem to expect, the front turn signals to flash when you're turning and light up with the headlights - Suzukis don't work that way - corner lights & turn signals are different.

Thanks for the replies.. The lights on the fenders are working fine and I understand they don't flash.

The corner lights (to me) are the ones that flash when blinker is applied and they still work in that regard. They just don't stay on when the headlight switch is turned to any position.

Unless I'm very much mistaken - there is no light on that vehicle that should both flash with the turn signals and come on in any postion of the headlight switch - it's just not how Suzuki does things.

See the orange lights next to my headlight? Those only light when I use the turn signal now.

 

OK - I just found one of those lamps on ebay and the picture does show three wires from that lamp so it should light both with the park lamps and the turn signals - my apologies - get your self a test lamp and check the power to the connectors with the park lights on - one of the wires should be red/yellow (I think), you should have +12V on that with the lights on.

Also check the front light grounds.

After chasing wires for days I just went ahead and replaced the sockets the bulbs were in and BAM.. They were clean but I guess that wasn't enough.

I've managed to break the elements in every bulb except the fender lights from the property I wheel at and now I'm finding the limits in the electrical connections and my rig.

I started going thru all the grounding locations on my Sidekick, cleaning them up nice and shiney, ran taps into the grounding bolt holes, cleaned the bolts and re-installed the grounds, then coated them with a heavy duty water displacing film. This solved many annoying irrational issues, LOL

My daughters 4 door was doing a crazy thing too, rear drivers side brake light was going OFF when brakes applied with lights on. Tested every freakin wire and ground, everything seemed good. After many hours I pulled a lamp socket out of a spare light I had and put it in, viola, problem solved. The old socket looked great too. weird.

That's definitely a bad or broken ground - the question is where.
