The left side rear tailight wiring area also has the ground for the fuel pump, but you said you looked at that.

Buddy, I feel for ya. There's nothing more frustrating ( to me anyway )  than trying to trace an errant electrical problem. Sometimes I think these things may be haunted. Hang in there, you'll get it eventually or you can just say screw it and run a switch like you mentioned! :laugh:

Do you have voltage when you first turn on the switch?  The fuel pressure switch will disable the fuel pump if it does not have adequate pressure after the initial 2-second burst.

I have power at the main relay but not at the fuel pump relay

Nobody mentioned this,so I will. On the dist there's a ground wire that goes to the firewall,did you check to make sure it's connected?
