weber to stock air cleaner
« on: March 22, 2012, 07:31:37 PM »
  Hello,
In hooking a weber to the stock air filter do I need the stud and wing nut that would have been on the stock carb? The po put the weber on but lacking funds cut up a square Tupperware container to hook it all together. I need to order the clamps for the air intake tube and adapter and need to know if I need the stud and wing nut. Thank you.

weber(redline) has adapters to use the stock air cleaner. my sidekick air cleaner is different than a samurai, but the stock carb is similar. i use an appropriate length 6mm bolt to fasten the air cleaner to the adapter.

Thanks for the answer. I was wondering if a bolt would work.
