kick looks clean, 2"BL and a 2" susp lift won't clear 31's. just so ya don't go out and buy tires forst.
with a pile of fender trimming they will fit.

i know it will be a tight fit for the tires, i do already have some old 31's that i can try before going out and buying new ones, but i dont mind doing a little bit of mods to make them fit, I like the lower big tire look than up high, thats why im not going with the 6+" lift. Its going to be a daily driver/trail truck. and i dont plan on doing anything extreme with it. well we will se how it works out in the end.

Just cut the fenders - there's threads on how to do it. It looks better with bigger cut fenders - instead of TINY wheel wells, and big tires.

a friend of mine did a really cool squared fender cut that turned out pretty cool looking.

if you are going to cut the fenders and like a low look I wouldn't even bother body lifting it. quaddawg fit 31's with some fender trimming and it's a nice low look and very functional. he also doesn't have the higher center of gravity a body lift would have given him

that's awesome that it's a diesel. I wish there were little diesel rigs like that in the US. the hilux with diesel sounds nice... almost the same as a tacoma I know but I think it's retarted that they don't sell small diesel 4X4's in the states. they get better mileage and better low end power right?

We might see more with the low sulfur coming on-line.  Of course, the price of Diesel will rise because of it...

lifted now. boondox coil spacers, pro comp 2 inch lift shocks, ome struts and what I mentioned back when I posted on here before I lifted it

What do you mean by flipping the strut?
In Portugal at least we have 3 diferent body, the soft-top, as you have it, the metal top, you also have it there, a like mine, the hard-top, that as as hood scoop that i though you also have there.
Yes i completely removed the front bumper which increased a  lot the aproach angle.

Here are some pics of mine they are almost the same but the blue 8V gave it's life to build  the better 16V  no need for the before pics because we all know what they look like. cutome air filter set up thanks to the help of GEN-ERIX & AJMBLAZER , 2 3/4 in body lift homegrown, 1 1/2 spring spacers(Roadless Gear) + homgrown 1/2in spacer 2 in total. 2 in strut spacers BDS , KYB crown vic shocks in rear and 4 door springs.  31x10.50x15 M/T on Black Steel. Longer brake lines. front skid plate and homemade front light bar. New to the list and much needed mods 4dr brakes and 2in exhaust no cat and turbo muffler.Acouple of other mods and still hopefuly more to come. they aint the best lookin but they almost never let me down
