I've been lurking around some and trying to learn about my new (to me) toy I got a month ago.  I haven't decided what parts I will change out on it yet.  It's an 88 Sami JX.  The guy I got it from ran it many times out in Moab, CO, CA and NM.  It seems to have some goodies on it based on what I know from my Jeeps.  Here's a list of the major things:

SOA lift using '88.5 stock springs
Centerline Pro-Truck Alloy Wheels
31x10.50-15 BF Goodrich Moab Edition Radial All-Terrain Tires
American Racing Alloy Wheels
33-9.50-15 BF Goodrich Edition Radial Mud-Terrain Tires
Con-Fer Skidplate
ZUK Custom Front Winch Bumper w/Built-In Receiver
ZUK Custom Rear Winch Bumper w/Built-In Receiver
ZUK Custom Traction Bar
Warn Z3500 Winch (Rear)
Tomken Front Shackles
Pro-Chassis 4pt Roll Cage/Air Tank
Rock Lobster Transfer Case
Sidekick 5.38:1 Differential Gears
Lock-Right Lockers (Front and Rear)
Doug Thorley Tri-Y Headers with 2 Exhaust
3  Master-Rac Security Boxes
Custom Half-Doors
SJ-410 Folding Windshield Kit
Two-Piece Hardtop
Three-Piece Bikini-Top/Roll-Bar Curtain/Tonneau Cover Set
Soft-Top
Scat Pro-Car 4-Way Racing Seats

Yesterday I bought a 97 Sidekick JX4x4 4 door to be my new daily driver. I had recently sold my 88.5 Samurai and used the funds from that transaction to get the Sidekick. I have been driving a LX450, but it's 10 mpg thirst was about to kill me with twice weekly refills. I am looking forward to the 30 mpg that I hear that Sidekicks can achieve.

This Sidekick looks and runs great with 154,000 miles. I think I would have preferred a 5 speed but the automatic gets the job done. This one is totally stock and will probably remain so.

I reflect back that I have had 5 4x4 SUV's in a row:89 Montero 2dr, 97 Montero Sport,97 Lexus LX450,88.5 Samurai, and now the 97 Sidekick.

Here are some pictures:
