just bought a 87 and the starter relay does not engage every time.
saw a relay fix for sale on ebay .
what is the problem with the stock relay or starter and what is the fix about.

the original wiring was not up to par, so what the new relay does is bypass all the old wiring with heavier gauge wires.  A very simple and effective solution to a common Samurai problem.

I have 5 jeeps and know them like the back of my hand .
My wife has always wanted a Samurai so now she has her own
and I have really come to like them , in fact I plan on added one
to my list of wheelers.
I am glad that the Samurai has a strong forum that I can learn the
ins and outs of the wheeler.
