Suzuki Grand Vitara 2.5 ignition coil
« on: February 25, 2012, 01:33:22 PM »
Does anyone know if the screw in the ignition coil (Boot to coil connection) should be sanded etc?
I didn't notice any look of corrosion on the first bank of cylinders I cleaned.
If the screw (or spring for that matter) is specially coated, eg. platimum, you would not want to remove the coating with abrasives - just a light cleaning.
Does anyone know the details?

also, the screw didn't want to loosen.
Can or should it be removed, and what happens when it is removed?
