Largest tire Size on a X-90??

Guys, I am restoring a 1996 X-90 to OEM, & just wanted to know what the "largest size 15" tire will fit on the Stock 5.5 inch wide wheel, with out rubbing? Also, I need to replace the steering column shaft "knuckle" the one under the brake booster, with the nylon sleeves, worn out, where can I buy that, & can I replace it without removing the column? Will appreciate your help!! thanks, Tommy

I run a 205x65x15, tried a 205x70x15 and it rubbed while turning.
