ok have a chance to get front and rear thirds from a 89 sidekick and it has the 1.6 liter the question i waant to know is this the model that has the hard to find thirds or does it just got 5.12's there was a thread on hear but cant find it i dont know if its auto  or standard  thx

The 1.6 89 sidekick will have either 4.62 (auto tranny) or 5.12 (5 speed) gears.
It is the 1.3 89 sidekick with the 5 speed that has the rare 5.62 gears.

the 4.62 are lower  so would they bolt right up to my 91 trackick with 5.12 are they good for dd or should i grab them and sell

4.62s would make you go faster than 5.12s, at the same RPM.
I wouldn't swap out 5.12s for 4.62s.

ok well that decides it if auto i'll grab and flip them for something good but it 5 spd i'll leave allone thx for the advice and i'll keep my eyes open for the rare set
