Water/alcohol injection!
« on: July 01, 2011, 04:06:58 AM »
Bentparts,
Thank you for the info on the water/alc. Injection website, do it yourself water/alcohol injection.
It has part numbers for the items used from McMaster-Carr. Their is a list of nozzle size for HP range covered
You're engine falls in. If people running water/meth would share their setups, it would be very helpful and appreciated.
I know they used a solenoid for the water to shut off but for a lot les money a spring loaded check valve
Could be used. Thanks Bentparts!

You might get away with using a check valve like we did with our old turbo dodges.  not high tech, but it works.  now we use devils own meth kit.  helps lower those temps and u can crank up the boost and make some power.  lol

More boost yeah! ;D A check ball would work just fine and eliminate a lot of the extra crap I used on mine. I'd try that first, but make sure you get a GOOD one, that is don't scrimp here. You don't want the alc/h2o being sucked into the engine when the intake manifold is under a vaccume condition, which it is most of the time. Happy boosting!

Do you still have some of the check valves you used? Thanks!
