Sweet, I saw (cough) Jeep bodies up in Moab at the Show, but I had no idea
there were Suzuki bodies available too

I saw these units made in Canada a year ago,

Just check, the one I saw was a "Long Body" tub.
I think the "Long Bodies" were only available outside the US.
They may make a "Stock/Std/Short" version available.
And they are pricey, aluminum needs extra prep to paint right, and aluminum does not take fatigue well (Cracking).

If I was going to shuck out that kinda dough I would want it to be a fiberglass body. At least WHEN I cracked it into something I could repair it in the garage.

There is a machine shop in town that could repair the aluminium body but Ewww La La would that cost you dearly!!!  :P
I know the voices aren't real.... but they have some pretty kewl ideas!!! Tux.....  ;-)

Man!  That is SEXY! They need to do a windshield frame and front fenders as well, and a front facia, and a targa bar, tailgate, and maybe even a roll cage.  All aluminum Sammi!  Who cares about paint?  I'd leave it unfinished, like a Lotus 7.  Just think of the tan you'd get.

The plan is to hit the lottery, then build the all-aluminum Samurai.  Just having a little trouble with step one right now.
