i want a wider wheel  (looks more then anything else)   what size   i.e. 15x7 or 15x8  would fit/be the better choice on my samurai the tires i have are 235/75r15  i have only a 2 in shackel lift  also what back spacing 50/50?

I would go with a 7 in max for 235 rubber

i have a set of 15x8 off a 70s cj on mine with 235 tires. a calmini shackle lift and they work great.

If you swap rims, check your "Back Spacing" as it may cause your steering to "Rub" the spring
on hard turning. Or too much and your left arm is going to get "Highway Freckles" from all the
gravel & mud coming up the side from the front tires. (Wider Flares is the usual cure)
