Ok back with a headache this time. My Sidekick didn't have rear wiper. So I got the stuff from a u-pull yard and installed it. Had power to the motor all three wires,but it wouldn't work. I pulled the cover off the commutator and it was corroded, pulled it out to clean the contacts and brushes. And put it back together again. The motor works now, but the wiper won't go full stroke and I think I messed up the timing of the tooth mesh. Anyway to get it back to normal park and sweep?

You just have to take it apart and adjust the gear mesh.  I don't think there are any reference marks as to how they align....so it will just be by trial and error, until you get it right.

That's what I was thinking. I should've paid attention to where the arm was before before I removed the motor cover and shaft. Another thing,with the linkage disconnected it travels fine,but connect it and it stop half way through return cycle. If push the arm a little it goes again,but will stop at same point. Should I just go ahead and replace the motor and relieve the headache?

I'd make sure it is assembled correctly first, and make sure it travels through the proper arc, before I'd replace the motor. 

Ok timed back again. But it still stops at the top of the arc,a little nudge and it returns to park. But will not travel full cycle without that nudge. With arm off it runs perfect,no stopping or anything. Weird to me.

I think there must be a bad spot on the armature, without load it works fine, with load it stops at same spot. Might have to get new motor anyway.

Pulled it apart again on Sunday,looked for bad solder connections and any left over corrosion and found none. Will order the new motor today.
