k. I'll test the thermostat and see if the clutch fan spins freely. I'm fairly certain the radiator is for the 1.3L suzuki engine. I bought a power steering cooler that goes in front of the radiator (and looks like a mini radiator)...so if I have to go with a larger radiator I hope it doesn't interfere with the PS cooler.
Hopefully overheating is one of the more simple issues to resolve -- Waterpump, fan, clutch, radiator...and worst case head gasket?
Update ... the clutch fan doesn't have anymore resistance when the engine is hot compared to cold... I've ordered a new clutch fan and radiator... I'm taking the radiator out to add the PS setup so i might as well put a new one in... the radiator in the samurai now came with the vehicle...
