Where exactly is the "fall classic" held?

Typically South East of Bend, Oregon...

That's where mine is too.  Kinda tricky to route the wire in a tintop though!

I have the luxury of a convertable... I just snake it under the canvas top ;). In 3-5 yrs i'll revisit it and figure out a stealthy way to route it.

My Seven star rated sleeping arrangements for the Fall Classic. Why seven stars? - Thats the number of stars I saw after telling Shelly that is where we will be sleeping.  After I regained consciousness,  I said "C'mon it'll be fun"  and she relented and agreed to try it.

I think this might take camping to a new low.

Seriously though; I take it this is a camping trip with some real tents involved?

Still not sure if I will make the trip or not.  Its just a really long way to drive for a few days of camping with guys willing to make micro RVs.  :)

a new low huh... Is it the color of the tarp? I can get grey or brown if that would make it better. :)

I understand rolling up such a decked out rig like that will bring into question if it meets the Suzuki only requirement. I'll be certain to bring the title with to prove it is in fact a suzuki.

I do believe there will be some "conventional" campers in the bunch that will opt for tents. So pedestrian...

O...M...G...  Did you seriously camp like that at Florence last weekend???
Well, I've camped in my Samurai once or twice, but didn't take it to the level of using a blue tarp.  haha
You and your mini RV will most certainly add some flavor to this wonderful trip.  :)
Look forward to seeing you there Greg!

Of course we did... everyone with thier RV's, toy haulers, trailers full of supplies.  We took up a whole camp site too!!

I used to do the same thing in my Honda Civic.  Flip down the back seat and sleep with your feet in the trunk with a nice blue tarp for privacy.  Its a nice, cheap way to get around.

I'm glad you have a sense of humor.  I wasn't sure if I should say anything, but I really was trying to be funny.

Yeah, I have been on camping trips when it was just a tarp on the ground, a sleeping bag and a bit of screen mesh held up by a couple of sticks so the bugs wouldn't eat me alive.  Your Micro RV would cetianly be a step up from that.

On a more serious note: I saw it snowed there last year.  Any chance that will be the same  this year?
