Dang, you had to pick that as a limitation.  What if we only poke one eye, do we still get half a badge?

Nope you stab yourself in the eye ... no merit badge. We will have goggles for you to wear the rest of the trip. Yeah - remember those uber cool goggles in science class? those goggles.  If you are looking for a loop hole .. there is one.  You still earn your badge if you stab someone else in the eye. They will loose thier badge but you will still earn your badge.

I downloaded new maps onto my brothers GPS, changed the oil in the car and dumped a bunch of Seafoam into the intake.  She seems to be running a bit better now, but may have developed an oil leak...

So my check engine light came on at exactly 160,000 miles yesterday so under the dash to flip that little switch. I understand just flip it once and then in another 80,000 miles or so flip it back? Unless I really do have a problem but runs great. Next stop the main land after I get the spare mounted.

Yep.  Just a simple switch back and forth.

I'm home; got home a little before 6:00pm.  Going to take a much needed shower, have some dinner, and go through pictures.

the trip was a total of 988 miles - a record for the LJ!

I'm so dissapointed I missed this event.  It looks like it was a great time for you guys.  Well, at least most of you.  Rolling doesn't sound like much fun.

Any idea when the full report will come out?

Ouch about the rollover, glad no one was hurt.
Was it just some local or one of the people attending.

Steve, I can't recall, does th LJ81 have heat? (BTW, if it's ever considered for sale, you have a buyer right here ;) )

I'm working on getting my act together to join everyone for next year ... I'm still shopless, and even oil changes are shadetree :( (those that saw my previous shop will understand my withdrawl symptoms).
I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy it.

Yes it has heat - only the (air cooled) LJ10's don't have a heater.

And as far as being a buyer - you'll have to get in line!  ;)
