yj springs question

88 samurai.
so am doing the yj springs kit. I ended up with front and rear springs off a friends yj after he did the lift on it.
how do I tell which ones are the fronts and backs? I asked him and he said not a clue.
thinking the set with more packs goes in the front for the engine weight?
is this correct?
thanks

you can run whichever ones you want on the front or back of the Sami.
I am running two sets of rear with yet another main leaf added to each pack on mine.
On the Jeep, the 4 pack was front and the 5 pack is rear.

I run them 4 front 5 rear on mine and I go through several a year but I tend to work them hard. I am thinking about linking the rear as they seem to go more often.
