re doing my rear suspension on mi sidekick, just curious what size the axle tube is on my rear? searched and all i can find is that samurai is 2.6 inches. i imagine sidekicks are the same or 3inch axle tubes

Have you got 2 straight edges and a tape measure? One straight edge on each side of the tube, then measure the gap. Kind of butch, but it gets close enough to figure it out.

Sounds like we are thinking along the same basic lines here. I am going to be sasing the "Rhino" later this year ( like after I get tired of blowing stuff up in the front axle ) and am thinking about going with a tracbar/radius arm setup. Compact, simple and flexy. That, and I have a ton of leftover Ford "chickenwing" stuff for the front ends. I am going to be cutting down the strut towers and then beefing them up to hold the stress from the abuse, hopefully.
